During the resorts 68th year celebration, Soda spring attracted the early day adventures that were outfitted in laced up leather boots and wooden skis. Back then soda springs was an extremely popular destination which was primarily accessed by train. Many things have changed since the early days of this resort with the slow train being replaced with the much more convenient chair lifts and travel to the resort being a lot simpler thanks to the creation of the I80. Although there has been a lot of modernization since the early days the traditions have stayed the same through the ages.
